Abstract:
Abstract: Objective To explore the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound combined with real-time elastography in evaluating hemodynamic indexes of breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 156 breast masses were selected from 127 female patients. All the masses were diagnosed pathologically. Before operation, the patients underwent contrast-enhanced ultrasound, real-time elastography, and hemodynamics examination by color Doppler ultrasound. Based on the results of pathological examination, the differences between begin masses and malignant masses in the related indexes among contrast-enhanced ultrasound, real-time elastography and hemodynamics were analyzed. Results There were 121 benign and 35 malignant masses diagnosed by contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and 120 benign and 36 malignant masses diagnosed by real-time elastography. The resistance index and peak systolic velocity of malignant masses group were higher than those of benign masses group (P<0.05). The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of the diagnosis by the combination of contrast-enhanced ultrasound and real-time elastography plus hemodynamics were higher than those of the diagnosis by contrast-enhanced ultrasound or real-time elastography or hemodynamics separately. Conclusion The combination of contrast-enhanced ultrasound and real-time elastography plus hemodynamics which can improve sensitivity and specificity is of great significance in the diagnosis of breast cancer.
