Abstract:
Abstract: Objective To construct a personalized aortic flow geometric model according to clinical CT images for studying the hemodynamics after ascending aorta replacement for Stanford A-type aortic dissection, and to analyze hemodynamic laws at postoperative blood drainage area by two mechanical indexes, namely the wall pressure distribution and flow velocity distribution at postoperative blood drainage area, which were obtained by numerical simulation based on computational fluid dynamics. Methods The postoperative CT images in DICOM format were collected, and then image post-processing software MIMICS was used for three-dimensional reconstruction and optimization, thereby obtaining the geometric model. Then the model was imported into meshing software for CFD meshing, and finally the meshed file was imported into the CFD module of ABAQUS (ABAQUS/CFD) for multi-cycle transient simulation. Results The hemodynamic parameters of the aorta at different times of the cardiac cycle were obtained through simulation calculation. Conclusion Hemodynamic parameters are closely related to boundary conditions. The complex flow field environment in the aorta is related to cardiovascular diseases. Numerical simulation can provide some references for the prediction of disease development after ascending aorta replacement.
