Abstract:
Abstract: Objective To determine the natural frequencies of gluteus maximus and triceps muscles of the calf in rats after sciatic nerve injury, and to observe whether their natural frequencies are consistent under different states, so as to provide experimental evidence for the selection of rehabilitation frequency. Methods A total of 24 SD rats were randomly divided into 3 groups, namely blank group, model group and anesthesia group. The rats in model group suffered from sciatic nerve injury; those in anesthesia group were anesthetized with chloral hydrate; and those in blank group didn’t receive any intervention. On the 7th day after modeling, shock vibration excitation was applied to gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf by vibration instrument. Based on the data measured by the vibration response detection module, the natural frequencies of gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf were determined by real-time spectrum observation and time-frequency analysis method. Results There were two regular peaks at each test site. (1) No significant difference was found in the first peak frequencies of gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf among 3 groups (P>0.05), and the natural frequencies between gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf in the same group (the same state) (P>0.05). (2) There was no significant difference in the second peak frequencies of gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf among 3 groups (P>0.05), and the natural frequencies between gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf in the same group (same state) (P>0.05). Conclusion The first peaks of gluteus maximus and triceps muscle of the calf are their natural frequencies (8.25 and 8.12 Hz, respectively). The natural frequency of muscle tissue remains stable, and the state has trivial effects on the natural frequency of the same muscle tissue.
